Scribus is a Desktop Publishing application. The purpose of desktop publishing programs is to integrate images and formatted text for a magazine, a poster or a brochure. The resulting layout can be saved to a format such as postscript or pdf that is suitable for printing. For example, the image below shows the Snøfrix DVD cover created with Scribus for the Norwegian public libraries. Click on the image to see a larger image.
