OpenOffice.org is a free office suite resembling Microsoft Office. In fact, OpenOffice.org can frequently be used as a replacement for Microsoft Office, with the advantages of lower cost and open file formats. Thanks to some clever reverse engineering, Openoffice.org reads and writes both Microsoft's secret file format (.doc) as well as its own open file format (.odt). With OpenOffice.org, you can in addition write pdf-files and html-files. Use it to make your own home page!
