| knoppix lang=us | English-language user interface. |
| knoppix screen=1280x1024 | Maximal screen resolution of 1280x1024. |
| knoppix alsa | Try this if your sound card does not work. |
| knoppix home=scan | Snøfrix automatically discovers your persistent home directory. |
| knoppix config=scan | Snøfrix automatically discovers your configuration. |
| knoppix tohd=/dev/hda1 | Copy the compressed KNOPPIX image to hard disk. |
| knoppix toram | Copy the compressed KNOPPIX image to memory (RAM). |
You can use multiple boot options simultaneously, for example:
